Keep your chin up Leroy. You have provided an outstanding example of what a community “paper” should do. Sandra may not like what you have said here. If not I would advise her to advocate for changes to political contribution regulations. Unless of course she likes being beholden to corporations or her reasons for entering politics are largely for personal benefit. Hopefully she and your city council really are dumb enough to wade deeper into this as public reaction will be overwhelmingly negative. I do not even live in Toronto for example, I am in Hamilton and I have seen fit to post here. Your efforts are inspirational and I hope efforts like this will help lead this province and country to real democracy.
PS If you do not know who Joanna Chapman is google her and her succesful struggle for an investigation into the political contributions of a former mayor of Hamilton. A very similar situation. Joanna is still active and leading the charge for integrity and democracy in Hamilton. You are cut from the same bolt of cloth.
Hello,
I am a resident of 32. A few things to communicate here: 1-there is a stench coming from the Ashbridges Bay filtration plant at NIGHT-while we are ‘asleep’-it wakes me up-I think their incinerator is up and running despite the claims it is not-by the plant manager whom I spoke with 10 minutes ago. 2-apparently, forced vaccination of H1N1 is coming this fall to our country-if you refuse it is rumoured you are placed in ‘quarantine’…can I help/contribute to making this public? Thanks,
